National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Flourish Speech Pathology provides services and supports to NDIS participants whose plans are self-managed or plan-managed.

Private Health Insurance
We also accept private health insurance for assessments and individual intervention sessions which means you can claim a portion of the fees back.
Please contact your health insurance provider to query the eligibility and coverage for Speech Pathology services in your plan. The item codes are listed here.
Please note that fees need to be paid in full on the day of your service. You will then receive a receipt via email to allow you to claim from your health fund.
Medicare
Chronic Disease Management Program
Rebate per session: $60.35
Referral Requirement
A valid referral is required from a GP under a GP Management Plan (GPMP) and Team Care Arrangement (TCA).
Number of Sessions
Patients can access up to 5 allied health (therapy-only) sessions per calendar year, with sessions resetting on 1 January each year.
Who This Is For
This program is for individuals with a chronic medical condition that affects communication and swallowing and requires multidisciplinary care.
M10 - Complex neurodevelopmental disorder and disability services
Rebate per session: $87.25

Referral Requirement
A valid referral is required from a paediatrician, psychiatrist, consultant physician, or relevant medical specialist.

Number of Sessions
Eligible patients can access up to 8 assessment services and 20 treatment services in total over their lifetime (not per year).

Who This Is For
This item is for children and young people under 25 years of age who have been diagnosed with, or are suspected of having, a complex neurodevelopmental disorder, stuttering, speech sound disorders, or cleft lip and/or palate.

Flourish Speech Pathology Services located in Adelaide, South Australia provides Speech Pathology assessments, individual and group intervention to clients across the life span. Telehealth services also available for interstate clients and clients in Hong Kong with regular face-to-face consult throughout the year.
